Piedmont Community College’s Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) will offer free seminar, “Choose a Business to Start in 2012 that Suits You. 500 Choices.,” on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6-9 p.m. at the BDEC, 105 N. Main St., Roxboro. Steve Carver will be the presenter. Starting a new business can be both exciting and terrifying.

There are a lot of tools on the market that can help you determine what type of business may suit you best. If you are considering starting or buying a small business, you'll find this seminar enlightening. Focus points will included matching the right type business to fit your budget, how to include several profits centers to enhance profitability, your business skills, time allotment and many more important factors. You will get a list of 500 different types business to use in the selection process. Time is allotted for open discussions and tips.
