Have you purchased your luminary for “Jingle on Main,” on Thursday, Dec. 8? PCC will participate in this holiday event that will feature luminaries on Main Street, a tree lighting at 6 p.m., a visit from Santa, and a showing of “The Polar Express” at the Kirby Theater at 7 p.m. PCC’s Kirby Learning Studios host an open house, and the Kirby Gallery will feature an exhibit by the Person Art Guild. Bring canned food items, gently used coats, and toys for Toys for Tots to the Kirby Theater.

The PCC Foundation and Alumni Partnership are selling luminaries for the event.  For $10, you may purchase a luminary in honor, in memory, or to wish Merry Christmas to someone. Proceeds go to the new Kirby Cultural Arts Complex on Main Street.  Contact the PCC Foundation or Alumni offices on PCC’s Person County Campus or pick up forms at The Courier-Times or the Roxboro Area Chamber of Commerce.

Other sponsors include the Roxboro Development Group, The Roxboro Area Chamber of Commerce, Person County Travel and Tourism, Person County United Way, Person County Parks, Recreation, Arts and Parks, Person County Museum of History, Senior Center,  and the Roxboro Area Merchants’ Association.
