If you want to complete Piedmont Community College’s Nursing Assistant I classes, you have plenty of options to do so during the upcoming spring semester. The College will offer day, evening, and weekend classes for students’ convenience.  

Day classes will meet Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Evening classes will meet Monday through Thursday from 5:55-9:10 p.m. Weekend classes will be held Fridays from 5-9:10 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.  

Nursing assistants perform nursing care and services under the supervision of licensed health care professionals. Graduates of the program who successfully complete requirements may be listed on the registry as Nursing Assistant I and Nursing Assistant II. Nursing assistants may be employed in home health agencies, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, extended care facilities, and doctors’ offices.

Payment for spring classes is due Dec. 20. Classes begin on Monday, Jan. 9.
