You're invited to Piedmont Community College's fifth annual StepN2theArtZ on Wednesday, Sept. 28. This year's festival will have China as its theme. Activities will be held on PCC's Person County Campus from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and are open to the public free of charge. Concessions will be available for sale, and some will include Chinese cuisine.

Students will participate in the creation of a Chinese mural and in T'ai Ch'i, led by PCC instructor Peter Kay. Performers will include the NC-RTP Chinese Music Ensemble of Chapel Hill; Jinxiu Zhao, calligrapher and brush painter; the Triangle Area Peking Opera Association; artist Grace Li Wang with her art on exhibit; and the Hung Gar Kung Fu Academy performing the traditional Lion and Dragon dances. Films by students in PCC's Film and Video Production Technology and Digital Effects and Animation classes will be shown throughout the event.

Come to PCC for a fun and educational day of Chinese arts!
