PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage instructional program and teach 24-28 classroom and lab hours per week in Foodservice Technology at Orange Correctional Center; work with correctional staff in providing educational training for students; maintain required documentation and lab/equipment; enforce safety regulations and perform variety of related duties.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience and Knowledge

Requires High School Diploma/Equivalent; Certificate in Foodservice Technology/related area and three years experience or five years advanced training/relevant work experience in foodservice industry; ability to obtain/maintain Department of Public Safety security clearance. Teaching experience and/or two years’ work experience in governmental agency interacting with inmates or ex-offenders preferred.

 

SALARY           $38,893-$45,144 for a 9 1/2 month position with benefits
