Find out which healthcare career is for you in a free orientation class at PCC
Piedmont Community College (PCC) will offer an Orientation to Healthcare Careers class on November 20 – 29. This free class will meet at the Workforce Training Center on 303 S. Morgan Street in Roxboro on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
This Orientation to Healthcare Careers class is a free course designed to help you choose a career in the health care industry. Students will learn to evaluate medical positions, such as certified nursing assistant, medical technician, medication aide, EMT, professional medical coding and billing, and cardiovascular technician to see which course would be best for you.
After successful completion, students may be eligible to receive financial assistance to cover the cost of future healthcare training and all other related fees. For those not seeking financial support, the free Orientation to Healthcare Careers is still beneficial in helping to determine a future program of study in this area.
Space is limited! You are encouraged to pre-register by November 17 by calling PCC’s Workforce Development Team at (336) 599-4620 or (336) 322-2156.
