Piedmont Community College’s Person County Campus in Roxboro has a top quality childcare facility available for children ages three to five. Established in 1977, the Person County Child Development Center was the first center in Person County to receive a Five Star rating from the NC Child Care Commissions, Division of Child Development. Enrollment is open to children of students, College staff and the general public. The Person County Campus Child Development Center has an enrollment capacity of 36 children. Once each Center reaches capacity, a waiting list is established, with children of students having first priority.

The Center has a qualified staff dedicated to meeting the developmental and educational needs of young children. The staff strives to create a wholesome, happy and safe environment for the children to develop a positive self-image and a respect for other children and adults. A variety of social and educational experiences are offered to meet this goal.
