I am very excited to welcome you to Piedmont Community College’s (PCC) new web site. This web site was designed as part of our commitment to make PCC information easily accessible.
We hope you will find the new site easy to learn, efficient to use, and aesthetically pleasing. The new visual design and research-based navigation are intended to improve your ability to find information. Whether you are a high school student, a current PCC student, someone who wants to continue your education or take advantage of our online and distance learning opportunities, enhance community and business relations, or are a resident of our community or a visitor from across the country, PCC’s web site is designed with you in mind-- both visually and content-wise.
What you are seeing is the first phase of the new expandable design; more enhancements are forthcoming. Please continue to check back in as we add new features and content based on your needs and give us your comments and suggestions.
Our primary mission at PCC is to enrich the lives of the citizens of Person and Caswell counties. We have a history of excelling at this mission, as demonstrated by the fact that we are one of only eleven of the 58 North Carolina Community Colleges to earn the special recognition of being named an “Exceptional Institution” through our achievements in serving our students and communities. The same dedication and commitment that made Piedmont Community College an “Exceptional Institution” was also employed during the development and implementation of our Distance Learning opportunities along with this new web presence. This new web site and our high-quality distance learning programs give PCC the ability to offer lifelong learning, educational and training programs and cultural opportunities to a broader audience of learners with no limits of time of day or class locations.
As you explore our new website, you will find that we worked hard to provide information that will help you be successful academically and keep you informed of opportunities and events being offered here at PCC and the community-at-large. Let us know how well we’ve done and help us create a web site that provides you easy access to the PCC information and services you need.
Thank you for visiting our web site. We hope you’ll let PCC help you have a successful future.
