Piedmont Community College will offer four College Nights to help answer questions about beginning classes at a community college. The first College Night will be held at on Monday, April 13, 7-8 p.m. at Roxboro Baptist Church on Main Street in Roxboro.

PCC College Night allows high school students, soon-to-be graduates, adult learners, those interested in increasing their job skills, and community members to learn more about Piedmont Community College programs and career paths.

Representatives will be on hand to give presentations, answer questions, help review financial aid and scholarship applications, and advise prospective students. There will also be prize giveaways and refreshments for guests to enjoy. Parents are encouraged to attend with their potential students and explore the life changing educational opportunities at Piedmont Community College.

If you are unable to attend the April 13 event, Piedmont Community College will host three additional College Nights:

  • Tuesday, April 14 at the Gunn Memorial Library in Caswell County, 5 - 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 23 on the Caswell County Campus, 5 – 7 p.m. (includes a tour of campus);
  • Thursday, April 30 on the Person County Campus, 5 – 7 p.m. (includes a tour of campus.)


In addition to being affordable, offering small class sizes, and being close to home, Piedmont Community College offers a wide variety of curriculum programs designed to prepare students for the workforce or transfer to a four year college or university. Programs of study include (but are not limited to): Healthcare, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Cosmetology, Electrical Power Production Technology, Film and Video Production Technology, and Associate in Fine Arts, Science, and General Education which offer a seamless opportunity to transfer to a public university in N.C.
