HRD Registration and Paying for Classes

Registration

Human Resources Development (HRD) classes are designed to assist those who need to acquire new skills, or upgrade their existing ones, to be competitive in today’s labor market. Individuals meeting any of the following criteria qualify to take HRD courses at no charge:
  • unemployed 
  • have received notice of a lay-off
  • working and eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit or
  • receiving wages at or below 200% of the poverty level
Individuals wishing to enroll in HRD classes may enroll by reporting to class on the first day of the scheduled class.

Cost

Courses are free to eligible students.
