Students with Special Needs

Disability Services:

Through the Office of Disability Services, the college seeks to meet individual needs by coordinating accommodations and implementing policies regarding programs, services, and activities for individuals with disabilities. Our office serves as a source of information for students and faculty/staff and as a link between students, departments, and other associated agencies.

If you have a disability or special need that may affect your academic performance and are seeking accommodations, it is your responsibility to inform the disability services counselor as soon as possible. It is important to request reasonable accommodations early enough to give the Disabilities Services Office adequate time to consider your request and recommend reasonable accommodations.

The Disability Office is located in Student Development, (Person County Campus Building E; Caswell County Campus Building K). Information on available services and how to access these services can be found in the Disability Services Handbook.
