Tiffani Woods named 2018-19 Academic Excellence Award recipient at PCC

“Because of Piedmont Community College, I am able to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I am so proud to have been a part of this great community college.” This was Tiffani Woods’ response when asked about her educational journey at PCC. At the College's recent commencement ceremony, Tiffani was named Academic Excellence Award recipient and awarded a plaque and medallion by Dr. Pamela G. Senegal, PCC President and Paulina Lopez, Commencement Speaker and 2012 PCC Graduate, in recognition of this prestigious award.

PCC’s Workforce Training staff, programs and courses moving to Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center on Main Street in Roxboro

Free classes to assist residents with job seeking and employability skills will now be offered in Uptown Roxboro at PCC's Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center. The College staff will gradually make the transition and all future Workforce Training Center programs and courses will be held at the 105 North Main Street location in Roxboro. PCC to continue five-day work week during summer, closing at 1 p.m. on Fridays; Rockness Monster Disc Golf Course open to community

During the summer, Piedmont Community College will have team members available to assist visitors from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday (unless otherwise closed for holidays as noted on the calendar at www.piedmontcc.edu/calendar). The campus is open to the public for extended hours, however, staff will not be available. Read here for full campus hours.


PCC grads urged to be flexible

PCC awards 113 students with associate’s degree, 123 professional certificates, 16 diplomas, and 87 high school equivalency diplomas in 2019.
