Certification leads to new job for PCC student David Shaw

Shaw enrolled in Piedmont Community College’s short term Siemens Level I training when it was first offered in May, passing the national exam in June. Two months later he is earning a paycheck through a paid internship at Spuntech Industries, Inc. and continuing his education in PCC’s Electrical Electronics Technology curriculum program. Piedmont Community College (PCC) has selected three Student Ambassadors for the 2017-2018 academic year. They are: Andrea Alcantara, Ayla Dunn, and Abigail Farmer of Roxboro. Alcantara, Dunn, and Farmer will serve as official student representatives of the College at community and school functions.
