Notary class
Piedmont Community College’s Business
Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC) will hold a notary class on
Tuesday and Thursday, February 21 and 23. The class will be held from 6-9 p.m.
both evenings at Piedmont Community College’s Caswell County Campus, 331
Piedmont Dr., Yanceyville.
Judy Newcomb will instruct the six-hour
class. This course will prepare the learner for appointment to the position of
Notary Public in North Carolina.
Instruction will include a study of the fees, general powers and limitations,
and the requirements for attestation. Participants must be at least 18 years of
age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and speak and write English.
Cost for the class is $65 plus the cost
of the textbook. Payment of the fee is required to reserve space in the class.
