Piedmont
Community College will present a Brown Bag Lunch Series on global awareness
with the events planned for Spring Semester on the College’s Caswell County
Campus in Yanceyville. The College’s Diversity/Global Awareness Committee will sponsor
the events, which will feature PCC faculty and staff presenting on their
travels to other countries.
The sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in Building K, Room 202, on the
Caswell County Campus.
The
Spring Semester schedule is as follows:
Wednesday,
Feb.8, Gloria Bennett, Dominican Republic;
Wednesday,
March 28, Dean Christiansen, Norway;
Wednesday,
April 25, Dawn Langley, Pakistan.
The events are open to the public free of charge and are intended to promote
the value of cultural diversity and global education. Persons attending
are invited to bring their own lunches and beverages. Groups are also welcome
to attend, but advance notification should be arranged by contacting Dr.
