Piedmont
Community College will continue its Brown Bag Lunch Series on global awareness
with the events planned for Spring Semester. The College’s Diversity/Global
Awareness Committee will present the events, which will feature PCC faculty and
staff presenting on their travels to other countries.
The sessions will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on PCC’s Person County Campus on
the third Wednesday of each month, except for December and January. The
sessions will be held in the Technical Education Building (Building S), Room

21—Katie Hester, Thailand
April
18—Lynn Ward, Greece and Turkey
The events are open to the public free of charge and are intended to promote
the value of cultural diversity and global education. Persons attending
are invited to bring their own lunches and beverages. Groups are also welcome
to attend, but advance notification should be arranged by contacting Dr.
