PCC to close Tuesday, Aug. 12, for professional development

PCC ‘s Nurse Aide I Training will begin Aug. 22

Piedmont Community College has changed the starting date for its Nurse Aide I training to be held on the Caswell County Campus. The course will begin on Friday, Aug. 22, and will meet through Dec. 5, on Fridays from 5 – 9 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

PCC registration continuing

Registration is scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Aug. 13-15. Registration hours will be 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday. Classes begin Monday, Aug. 18.

PCC launches Plus 50 Program to train older workers for new jobs in health care and human services

Piedmont Community College (PCC) students over age 50 who are enrolled in health care and human services programs at PCC now have access to additional support services to help them succeed in reaching their educational goals. PCC was recently chosen to join the Plus 50 Encore Completion Program, a national effort to train 10,000 baby boomers for new jobs in health care, education, and social services.

PCC Fall Semester registration kicks off on July 23-24

Students who plan to register for Fall Semester classes at Piedmont Community College will be able to do so next week on Wednesday, July 23, and Thursday, July 24. Registration hours are 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on both the Person County Campus and the Caswell County Campus.
