Piedmont Community College’s Diversity/Global Awareness Committee will host its first Brown Bag Lunch of 2014 on Tuesday, March 18, on its Person County Campus and on Thursday, March 20, on its Caswell County Campus. Both events will begin at noon and will feature PCC student Michael Farmer as presenter. Farmer, a current PCC student, will speak on various countries he has visited. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with Bachelor's and Master's degrees, majoring in English.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. Attendees bring their own lunch to this brown bag event, which will be held in Building S, Room 100 on the Person County Campus and in Building K, Room 202-203 on the Caswell County Campus.

PCC’s Diversity/Global Awareness Committee hosts period brown bag luncheons to help increase global awareness. The events are open to PCC students, faculty, staff as well as other students and the general public. Presentations are scheduled for one hour. For more information, contact the committee’s chairman, Gretchen Bell, Dean, Learning Resources Centers and Distance Learning at 322-2154 or gretchen.bell@piedmontcc.edu.
