VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Piedmont Community College has many opportunities for our alumni to volunteer. A few examples are:

• Tutoring
• Business/industry tours.
  Alumni who work at businesses/industries are particularly effective in giving tours of their workplace to our students.
• Guest speakers/lecturers.
  Alumni who have acquired significant expertise in a specialty area are invited to speak to students.
• Mentors

Guest Lecturer Opportunities
Alumni who have acquired significant expertise in a specialty area are invited to speak to students. Our students also learn from someone who is working in a particular field and who has practical knowledge to share. Presentations are scheduled by class instructors and take place during class times.
